They hit very hard and higher shell arcs tend to result in less vertical dispersion, but leading targets at range can be challenging. The thing that sets her gunnery apart from CO is the floaty nature of her shells. Along with CO, she has the best accuracy parameters on any USN tech tree BB: the ubiquitous USN/UK/German dispersion curve and 2.0 sigma. NC’s dispersion is objectively excellent. The only citadels I get are wh en I blind shot or just. I've had better salvos regularly with Richelieu. And yes, I read she's MEANT to have good dispersion. Or getting full overpens on 90 degrees angled battleships. The amount of time I perfectly bracket a target and get no hit. The dispersion is absolutely a trocious. (note: according to my stats at I'm actually doing well in it. frustrating.Īm I missing something? Is she meant to play differently than the traditional long/mid-range battleship? I have no issues getting kills and citadels in Richelieu, Massachusetts, or even destroyers (Yorck/Myoko, which I'm currently grinding, are citadel machines). I was perfectly positioned to bounce shells. Just then, I got citadelled TWICE while perfectly angled, by a Shikishima and by a Musashi. See, other ships have things they can do if they don't hit. These type of ships are meant to punish broadside. The only citadels I get are when I blind shot or just. But occasionally, on some boats, I have fun. Now, I don't like playing battleships in general.
